Movie Reviews

I went to the movies last night and saw 3 movies, 1 of which was the most pathetic, lame excuse for a film!!

1) The Incredible Hulk - A re-re-make since the 2002's "Hulk" sucked ass big time. This one was actually pretty good with tons of action and suspense, however it was missing a little something. Unlike "Iron Man", it didn't really have the comedic elements. I'm not saying it NEEDS to be funny, but rather a few more jokes would've helped calm down the serious mood it has. 4.5/5

2) Kung Fu Panda - This was probably the movie I wanted to watch the least since lately a lot of animated films have been crappy...however, it was actually awesome! It was hilarious and also had A LOT of neat kung fu action throughout the whole movie. There were never any boring parts, the movie kept me enterained from start to finish. It also had a very good story line. I'm having high hopes for the next animated movie, "Wall-E", so let's see which one of the two is the better one of its kind. 5/5

3) The Happening - I had REALLY high hopes for this movie and was the only one I was actually looking forward to watching. The movie was written, produced, and directed by "Signs", "6th Sense", and "The Village" director M. Night Shyamalan, which made me even more excited to watch it since I'm a big fan of his films. HOWEVER, this movie was the STUPIDEST, lame piece of crap I have ever seen in my short 16 years of life, worse than "When a Stranger Calls" (which I thought would be impossible)!!! The screenplay was terrible and COMPLETELY random, which made the actors look very stupid when they said their lines. Also most of the film made me go "huh?" cause the storyline made absolutely no sense at all. Not to mention there was no "twist ending" like in the rest of the Shyamalan films. The ending was very stupid and cliche and ended like most horror/thriller movies these days. I suggest no one watch this lame excuse for not just a Shyamalan film, but for any kind of film in general. -5/5
